Leading Custom Footbed Provider Offers Free Foot Scans to Help Improve Health and Game of Amateur Golf Players and Enthusiasts
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - (May 3, 2010) - eSoles® Custom Footbeds, the world's leading authority in the science and development of custom footbeds and an official licensed product of the PGA Tour, announced today that it will be performing free foot scans for spectators at the PGA Tour’s 2010 PLAYERS Championship, which will feature top players including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jim Furyk. From Monday, May 3 through Sunday, May 9, spectators have the opportunity to have a 100 percent accurate scan of their foot taken using eSoles 3D TruCapture® Kiosk, which was once only reserved for PGA Tour players at the tournament held in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL at TPC Sawgrass Golf Course. Currently, over 100 PGA Tour players including eSoles ePRO Ian Poulter (winner of the Accenture Match Play Championship in February), Camilo Villegas, Bo Van Pelt and Ted Purdy have had a 3D foot scan and wear eSoles both on and off the golf course.
The 3D TruCapture Kiosk by eSoles is the most precise and accurate foot scanning system available and used by hundreds of professional and amateur athletes to help with endurance as well as individuals looking for extra comfort in their step. Once the 3D foot scan is complete, spectators will be provided with eFit® custom modular footbeds at the tournament or wait a few days for a pair of ePro™ custom footbeds to be sent to their designated address. Both eFit and ePro footbeds are unique custom footbeds tailored to the contours and activity needs of each customer's feet.

This year, the kiosks will be located inside the main merchandise tent at the tournament allowing all spectators attending the event access to the scanning technology and footbeds. Kiosks will also be located in the Golf Shop available to VIP attendees. Scanning will begin Monday, May 3 and continue through the end of the tournament from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
