Today I stuck my foot into an inflatable pillow in the clubhouse at the TPC Sawgrass Players Stadium Course. This inflatable pillow was attached to the kiosk for eSoles, the newest innovation in customized insoles.
This kiosk uses diagnostics to determine the proper type of insoles for the person using the machine. First, the machine asked me for my age, gender and types of activities. Then, I took off my shoes and socks to stand on the soft mesh pad used to collect information regarding the amount of pressure placed on the different areas of my feet.
Once the kiosk evaluates the pressure on my feet, I placed my feet in the inflatable pillow device in order to evaluate the measurements of the arches in my feet. The magic pillow machine shows a diagram of the amount of pressure and depicts the arches in your feet in a neat graphic on the kiosk's screen.
The eSoles are used by several professional golfers including Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas, Bo Van Pelt, Rory Mcilroy and Adam Scott,, said Sales Representative Brad Johnson. Johnson said the soles are useful "for anybody who walks."
Having two club feet as a child, I found the product intriguing and thought it would be cool to share. If you want to know more about the product, visit www.esoles.com for more information.
