About eSoles

In 2005 eSoles Custom Footbeds launched the development of its 3D TruCapture foot scanning technology. By 2006 the technology was ready and eSoles prototypes were being manufactured in the Rhode Island facility, owned by eSoles co-founder, William (Bill) Peterson.  A veteran of the US Ski team, Bill Peterson injured his knees skiing, forcing him to retire early from the US Ski Team. Bill tirelessly pursued a new mission – to design and create the ultimate footbed for athletes, weekend warriors, and everyday individuals. Ultimately his passion and drive were instrumental in advancing the foot orthotic industry as we know it today.  Bill's original foot molding pillow and the original 3D TruCapture scanning technology were the launching catalyst for eSoles Custom Footbeds technology that thrives today.

After proving the technology and sales potential with initial product runs, eSoles ultimately received financial investments that provided the launch capital for the eFit and ePro product lines. The eFit and ePro products were an instant hit. eSoles Custom Footbeds became the footbed of choice for pro athletes across numerous sports. From NASCAR drivers to PGA golfers, and Soccer Mom's and Dad's across the country to professional USA cyclists, eSoles was proving its technology offered a comfort and performance benefit over the competitive landscape.

Bill Peterson continued to develop new footbed technology and produced a second custom product line to complement the ePro line. The new custom line is Powerbed. The eSoles family was saddened when Bill Peterson passed away in May 2012. His contribution and leadership continues to fuel and live in everything we do. eSoles is proud to continue Bill's mission of bringing the most advanced, medically designed footbeds to the sport community and general public.

Designing and promoting the very sole of your performance.

Feel better, Perform better – eSoles.
